At the upcoming Annual Conference on June 12 – 14, 2024, C2ER will be electing a new slate of board members.

The C2ER Nominating Committee is seeking experienced and dedicated members to serve as leaders in guiding the future of C2ER. The role of board members is to provide organizational governance, take an active role in board activities and help chair at least two committees.

If you are interested in being considered for a Board opening, or would like to recommend a potential Board member, please contact Erol Yildirim at ey@crec.net no later than April 16, 2024.

C2ER Winter Video Series – Economic Diversity Index Edition 📈

A month ago, C2ER launched its winter video series exploring the different products available to members. Discover the story each dataset tells and how you can access them as part of your membership benefits. Each showcases a testimonial about why the tool is important to a practitioner and how users like you can benefit from it!

This month we present C2ER’s Economic Diversity Index. The Diversity Index tool includes data points to help practitioners and policy makers understand and explore key concepts related to economic diversity of all 3,100+ U.S. counties. In addition to the index numbers, the data set provides several key indicators, including employment numbers for industry function and occupational knowledge cluster, and some county characteristics such as population, population growth, employment, employment growth, and average earnings.
