The Diversity Index includes data points to help practitioners and policy makers understand and explore key concepts related to economic diversity of all U.S. counties, states, metropolitan, and micropolitan areas. C2ER calculates four types of diversity: Industrial, Functional, Occupational, and Knowledge diversity.
