video

The C2ER Community, Economic, and Workforce Research Awards program recognizes and celebrates the significant contributions of research activities to the success of local, regional, or state community, economic, and workforce development initiatives. The program aims to increase the quality of applied research by identifying and honoring meritorious projects that demonstrate exceptional creativity and innovation. The first of our six pre-recorded award winner presentations have been released.

Every two weeks we will release a new presentation.

These winners have demonstrated exceptional performance in their research activities, making significant contributions to the development of their local communities, regions, and states. The program has become an important platform for promoting the diffusion of creative ideas and research activities, encouraging collaboration and inspiring researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders to work towards achieving shared goals. By recognizing and honoring the achievements of outstanding researchers and organizations, the C2ER Awards Program has helped to create a culture of excellence and encouraged continued efforts towards promoting economic, workforce, and community development.

C2ER Gives Members Some Slack

C2ER is excited to roll out a new member benefit! We have started a C2ER member only Slack platform. C2ER started beta testing Slack in 2022 and it proved to be very helpful to our volunteers. Slack gives easy access to fellow C2ER members — message anyone inside C2ER and collaborate just like you would in person. People can post in dedicated spaces called channels that bring together the right people and information.

The C2ER Slack channels are great places to communicate and network with fellow members, learn more about upcoming events, ask the community a question, post a job, share industry news and much more. Here is a short tutorial on the basics of Slack.

Joining is easy! Log into the C2ER member area and find the link to join the community, click is and sign up, and you are set!
