Maurice Harris




Maurice Harris is currently Research Manager at Transwestern’s Minneapolis regional office in Minneapolis, MN. 

Joining Transwestern in 2022, Maurice’s role is to support and provide innovative insights and digital products to leadership and client. Beyond data analysis, the Manager, Research & Analytics will interpret both internal and external client needs, procure solutions and influence decisions, presenting informative findings across various business verticals, geographies, property types and investment strategies. 

Prior to Transwestern, Maurice was Research Manager at GREATER MSP Partnership. Maurice’s roles included conducting research to support economic development and market research efforts for the recruitment, retention, and attraction of businesses to the region. He is also responsible for the development and maintenance of intelligence directly related to supporting regional economic development efforts. He was previously employed at Missouri Economic Research and Information Center (MERIC), the research arm of the Missouri Department of Economic Development. 

Originally from St. Louis, MO, he obtained his Master’s Degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia in Public Affairs, specializing in Public Policy Analysis and Regional Development and obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Knox College majoring in Political Science and History. When not working, Maurice is a City Councilmember on the Golden Valley, MN City Council, Chair of the Knox College Alumni Council, and Secretary on the CASA Minnesota Board of Directors.
