Strategy and Policy Analyst

If so, consider joining the Strategy and Performance Division within Missouri’s Department of Economic Development (DED)! DED’s mission is to help Missourians prosper. The Strategy and Performance Division was established by Executive Order in 2019 to enable DED to enhance its long-term planning and use of data so that DED can more effectively carry out its internal and external operations. DED seeks a deputy division director to help Strategy and Performance achieve its goals and help DED attain its mission.
SALARY: $44,000 – $55,000 (based upon credentials)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor’s degree or higher with an emphasis in Business or Public Administration, Finance, Community or Economic Development, Economics, or a related field.
And
Two years of relevant experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Advanced degree, especially in public policy or public administration
• Experience in academic and/or policy research
• Experience in policy research and development
COMPETENCIES
• Exceptional written communication skills
• Interpersonal and partnership skills
• Knowledgeable in data analysis
