The Strategy and Performance Division was established by Executive Order in 2019 to enable DED to enhance its long-term planning and use of data so that DED can more effectively carry out its internal and external operations. DED seeks a deputy division director to help Strategy and Performance achieve its goals and help DED attain its mission.

SALARY: $44,000 – $55,000 (based upon credentials)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor’s degree or higher with an emphasis in Business or Public Administration, Finance, Community or Economic Development, Economics, or a related field.

And

Two years of relevant experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced degree, especially in public policy or public administration
• Experience in academic and/or policy research
• Experience in policy research and development

COMPETENCIES
• Exceptional written communication skills
• Interpersonal and partnership skills
• Knowledgeable in data analysis
