Responsibilities
• Reports to: Senior Vice President of Strategic Investment and Policy
• The Research Analyst conducts research on labor market information (LMI), analyzes key labor market issues and demographic trends, industry and business trends analysis support, economic development analysis support, legislation analysis support, and produces highly quality reports and presentations for management review and/or public presentations
• The Research Analyst will spend a majority of their time in these activities:
• Support research portfolio to provide WEDC staff with information for decision making including labor market research, economic indicator trends and comparative performance, competitive intelligence, workforce information, and other customized research as requested
• Perform statistical analysis, verify data, and maintain statistical information reporting systems on the local, state, national, and global business climate
• Collect, analyze, verify, and maintain data sets
