The Manager of Research and Policy conducts advanced research and data analyses to support regional planning and CAPCOG programs including the annual state of the region report. They will develop and oversee data and reports to be used throughout CAPCOG’s web-presences and on other digital platforms. The position will lead agency work on program performance impact and best practices and will support community and economic development work in the areas of transportation, housing, and economic development, and more. The Manager of Research and Policy also will work with the executive director on projects that involve policy, legislation, organizational issues, and strategic plans.  Candidates must have experience directly related to the duties of this position and be familiar with commonly used data sources, visualization tools, and economic impact models. This person must have strong communications skills and experience working with governmental entities. Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with major coursework in economics, public or business administration, research methodology and statistical analysis, or related field.

Experience: Must have 3-5 years’ experience in data gathering and reporting, statistical analysis, and quantitative and qualitative research.
