If so, The Community and Economic Development (CED) team with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is currently seeking applicants for a Data Literacy Analyst! This will be hired as a Data Analyst II.

What You’ll Do:

Empower Communities with Data Insights

  • Build and enhance the capacity for data analysis at local, regional, and state levels, ensuring teams and communities have access to the most relevant and up-to-date information.
  • Transform complex data and research into actionable insights tailored for broad audiences.
  • Identify, verify, and integrate new data sources to enrich our programming and initiatives.
  • Craft strategies to maintain and optimize data information for long-term impact.
  • Use creative visualization techniques to communicate data meaningfully and effectively.

Drive Meaningful Program Development

  • Lead the development and coordination of educational programming that fosters community growth and transformation.
  • Employ innovative approaches to successfully engage under-served and under-represented audiences.
  • Collaborate with team members to secure resources for ongoing and new initiatives at local, state, regional, and national levels.
  • Work closely with our communications team to amplify our outreach and impact.

Evaluate and Enhance Our Impact

  • Respond to inquiries with relevant information and insights.
  • Assist in the evaluation of programs to ensure we’re meeting our goals and making necessary adjustments.
  • Prepare timely system reports to keep our efforts on track and transparent.

Collaborate for Success

  • Contribute to annual work plans that align with our mission and goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Regional Directors, County Extension Offices, and community partners.
