Data Literacy Analyst

If so, The Community and Economic Development (CED) team with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is currently seeking applicants for a Data Literacy Analyst! This will be hired as a Data Analyst II.
What You’ll Do:
Empower Communities with Data Insights
- Build and enhance the capacity for data analysis at local, regional, and state levels, ensuring teams and communities have access to the most relevant and up-to-date information.
- Transform complex data and research into actionable insights tailored for broad audiences.
- Identify, verify, and integrate new data sources to enrich our programming and initiatives.
- Craft strategies to maintain and optimize data information for long-term impact.
- Use creative visualization techniques to communicate data meaningfully and effectively.
Drive Meaningful Program Development
- Lead the development and coordination of educational programming that fosters community growth and transformation.
- Employ innovative approaches to successfully engage under-served and under-represented audiences.
- Collaborate with team members to secure resources for ongoing and new initiatives at local, state, regional, and national levels.
- Work closely with our communications team to amplify our outreach and impact.
Evaluate and Enhance Our Impact
- Respond to inquiries with relevant information and insights.
- Assist in the evaluation of programs to ensure we’re meeting our goals and making necessary adjustments.
- Prepare timely system reports to keep our efforts on track and transparent.
Collaborate for Success
- Contribute to annual work plans that align with our mission and goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Regional Directors, County Extension Offices, and community partners.

Occasional travel within the state of Iowa will be required.
