Tracking the Supply and Demand for Labor in Your Region
Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 2:00:00 PM to  3:00:00 PM Eastern

How readily can workers find jobs in your region? How easily can employers find talent? How should workforce and economic developers target their resources? These questions—and more—can be addressed using data on the supply and demand for labor.

This webinar describes how you can use Labor Market Information (LMI) to understand labor supply and demand conditions in your region, with the help of labor economics concepts such as slack (tightness), matching efficiency, and mismatch. We will also discuss some of benefits and challenges of using “real-time LMI” in labor market analysis.
