Join Reba Adams, Project Manager with the Center for Economic Development Research at the Georgia Institute of Technology Enterprise Innovation Institute, for a webinar exploring the regional economic impact of a barnstorming baseball team. In collaboration with the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce and Fans First Entertainment, Adams helped author a study highlighting how the Savannah Bananas baseball team supports more than 1,200 jobs and generates $108 million in total economic output within the Chatham County Georgia. Attendees will gain insight into the methodologies behind the impact analysis, the role of tourism-dependent industries in supporting regional economies, and what the findings suggest for future economic development and downtown expansion efforts in the Savannah region.
