Tecora Murray is the Executive Director of the Greater Memphis Economic Research Group (GMERG), the research division of the Greater Memphis Chamber. She leads data-driven economic and workforce insights that support business growth, investment strategy, and regional competitiveness.

With over a decade of experience, she has held research leadership roles at the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and the Missouri Department of Economic Development. Her work focuses on translating complex data into actionable strategies that drive job growth and inform public and private sector decision-making.

Tecora holds a Master of Public Administration from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
