Marion Phillips, CERP




Marion Phillips is the Research Manager in the Economic Development department at Georgia Power. She is responsible for researching, analyzing, and visualizing a wide variety of information and data to support the business recruitment team and regional economic development managers. She manages a team of 2 researchers and has been with Georgia Power’s research group for 10 years. Currently, she’s a member of Georgia Economic Developers Association (GEDA) and the Atlanta Economics Club and serves as the Data Council Chair for the Metro Atlanta Exchange for Workforce Solutions (MAX). Marion has an undergraduate degree in sociology from University of Richmond and received her master’s in City and Regional Planning in 2014 from the Georgia Institute of Technology, with concentrations in Economic Development and Community Development.
