Hannah Taphorn




Joining the REDI Cincinnati team in 2014, Hannah serves as Director, Research. In this role, Hannah performs deep, thoughtful analysis of relevant market data, economic indicators and regional information to support REDI Cincinnati’s mission-critical focus on job creation and capital investment. Data-driven decisions are important to REDI, and Hannah has been there every step of the way, from building out internal research processes during REDI’s infancy, to most recently, assisting in shaping its targeted attraction strategy.

Hannah studied at Wittenberg University where she received a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in communication with a focus in social scientific methods. She was a member of Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s Cincy Next Class 3, and was also honored by the YWCA as a 2017 Rising Star and was invited to participate in the program of the same name. Though this five-month program she became certified in nonprofit board service, equipping her to become one of the region’s next equity leaders in the community.

Currently, Hannah serves on the Advocacy Committee for the YWCA and the Graduate Education Advisory Board for Northern Kentucky University in addition to her board role with C2ER.
