Benjamin Lasiewicz, CERP




Benjamin Lasiewicz has had a career spanning several decades as provider of economic development data evidence, by overseeing, directing, and conducting economic research at various municipal levels, and training/educating Interns or Staff on economic development impact modelling. He has been involved with C2ER since 2001 as a COLI data collector and received his designation as a Certified Economic Research Professional (CERP) in 2019.

Currently Benjamin is employed by the City of San Antonio – Economic Development Department, in the Director’s Office as their Research and Intelligence Manager. He is responsible for leading the department’s research and intelligence program that supports all pillars of the department by compiling and analyzing data to tell compelling stories about the work being done. Benjamin leads a team in responding to city-wide and department data needs, building databases and publishing department reports, creating and maintaining economic dashboards, and procuring and developing tools.
