It’s that time of the year again! C2ER and the LMI Institute are now accepting proposals for the 66th C2ER + LMI Institute Annual Conference held in Memphis, Tennessee from June 17 – 19, 2026! Your proposals are a core value of sharing and learning within our network.

We are seeking proposals that address a wide range of workforce and economic topics, including but not limited to:

R&B (Research and Breakthroughs): Innovation in the practice of data methodology and dissemination.
Greatest Picks for ’26: Updated or upcoming datasets, series, research tools, data sources, or research practices in community, economic, and workforce research.
Rated R (for Research): Projects that highlight Reliability, Representativeness, Readiness, Reporting, and Replicability… now joined by Relevance and Responsiveness.
Impactful Data: Research projects and initiatives that and its impact on community welfare and promotion of access to economic opportunity.
Bot Talk: Focus on A.I. and its interactions with economic and workforce development research.
Real-time Rhythms: Innovative real time data, unemployment insurance data, etc.; technical Skills Workshops.
Blue Suede Reviews: Economic and workforce development research conducted within the context or response towards policy analysis.
Pipeline Goes Platinum: Best practices and research in talent pipeline development.
