Economic Development Quarterly (EDQ) is Seeking Research Manuscript Proposals

<!–
<!–

Economic Development Quarterly (EDQ) is seeking research manuscript proposals that examine the impact of natural disasters on regional economic development in the United States. This special issue of EDQ would provide research on how communities are transformed by natural disasters and identifying the challenges they face in rebuilding. What are the lessons learned in community, state, and federal responses to past disasters? Selected manuscripts will be considered for publication in an EDQ special issue on the topic.

<!–
<!–

Paper proposals must be emailed to edq@upjohn.org by May 31, 2025.

Full details can be found here.

Webinar: Driving State and Regional Economic Growth with Sustained Growth Companies

<!–
<!–
<!–
<!–

Sustained Growth Companies are an often overlooked, but tremendously powerful driver of economic growth and improved outcomes. Their success can be attributed to one essential factor: their executive leaders consistently make better growth decisions than those at other businesses.

<!–
<!–

New research by Dr. Gary Kunkle reveals that just 50 management decisions set sustained growers apart from others. Learn more about Dr. Kunkle’s research, examine public policy implications, and discuss practical and low-cost ways economic development organizations can help increase the number of sustained growth companies in their regions.

The webinar is on May 14 from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM ET.
