Wisconsin’s Workforce Visual Catalog Page is Live, and it is Amazing

In this video, Heather Thompson, Deputy Director of the Bureau of Workforce Information and Technical Support at the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, presents her department’s award-winning visual catalog page. The page hosts 24 dashboards featuring BLS and LMI data, higher education data, population data, income information, and much more. In this presentation, she highlights career pathways, hot jobs, nurse survey review dashboards.

The entire project was built in-house with cross-functional teams, and won the Best State LMI Product or Collaboration for Data Collection and Dissemination Award at the 2024 C2ER Conference and LMI Forum in Norfolk, VA. You can find the visual catalog page, along with all the dashboards, here.

Drive C2ER’s Future: Join Our 2024-2025 Committees!

We are putting together the 2024 – 2025 C2ER committees and looking for YOU to get involved!

As a committee member you would be helping to shape the future of the organization. Interested C2ER members would need to join a minimum of one committee call per quarter and have an interest in one of the following categories:

• Marketing & Membership Benefits – Conduct membership survey and develop marketing plan for 2024-2025
• Professional Development and Training – Develop training proposal for the following 12-18 months
• Regional or State Chapters – Continue developing C2ER’s network for regional or state economic development researchers

Deadline to sign up is August 16, 2024.
