Basic Labor Market Information (LMI) Analyst Training
October 17 – 18, 2024, Arlington, VA
This in-person course provides novice labor market information (LMI) analysts with an introduction to LMI and basic analytical methods that support state and regional workforce development strategies. Through engaging discussions and hands-on exercises, participants will gain exposure to various workforce, demographic, and economic data sources. They will also apply basic analytical skills to answer real-world questions that policymakers and practitioners encounter in their job.

Interested C2ER members would need to commit to four hours per year – just one meeting per quarter – and have an interest in one of the following categories:
- Marketing & Membership Benefits – conduct membership survey and develop marketing plan for 2024-2025
- Professional Development and Training – develop training proposal for the following 12-18 months
- Regional or State Chapters – continue developing C2ER’s network for regional or state economic development researchers
