In cooperation with the Center for Regional Economic Competitiveness (CREC), C2ER promotes knowledge-based economic development efforts by helping local and regional entities to implement data-driven economic development strategies.  C2ER's core competencies include:

• Conducting regional industry, cluster, and occupational analyses
• Designing regional economic development strategies
• Developing data-driven training courses for economic development practitioners and labor market information analysts
• Providing leadership and expertise in strategic planning process for economic development and labor market information agencies
